Elegant Rusticity

A former client of ours was retiring from his CEO position and looking for a spacious escape where he could fully enjoy his new gift of time. He tapped our firm to help him both find and design his vision. We identified a 5,000 square foot home with an open floor plan on a beautiful private acre. The catch? It needed a lot of renovations and updates, and our client wanted to move into a redesigned and ready home in six months—bringing along only his clothing and toothbrush. We welcome a challenge, so we got to work. Six months later, we delivered a fully remodeled, furnished home, down to the linens and dishware. The aesthetic has a masculine resonance with the use of earth tone textiles and organic materials. By creating multiple vignettes within large rooms, the overall feel is warm, intimate and beautifully composed.
