Sophisticated Comfort

When we first laid eyes on this lovely mediterranean hilltop home in Los Gatos, we were afraid it needed a therapist rather than a designer. Over the years a mish-mosh of architectural styles had created a disoriented interior and its new inhabitants were in search of cohesion, comfort and style. We took a dated, dark house and reimagined it with a new floorplan and taller windows to fill the spaces with natural light. Reflecting our clients’ global style, we emphasized textiles with ikat and mandala patterns which also complemented their impressive art collection. A reorganization of the master suite made way for the luxurious carrara marble bathroom. Throughout the house, there wasn’t a surface that wasn’t considered and designed, creating an environment that is as individual as it is cohesive.
